XRP eyes $2 rally as XRPL transaction volume surges 6,000%

  • XRP may reach $2, according to analysts.
  • An analyst says XRP could reach $9 in the long run.
  • XRPL attracted a substantial $1.9 billion in net inflows.

XRP is showing signs of a potential recovery after transaction volume on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) surged to almost $50 billion.  With the asset holding firm at its $1.25 support level, market analyst Ali Martinez believes this surge of onchain activity points to a market bottom and a potential run to $2.

Santiment metrics show the asset’s transaction volume spiked 6000%. Approximately $49.66 billion worth of tokens were moved, compared to a baseline of just $0.8 billion per day over the preceding days.

Martinez says XRP may have entered its bottom phase, a sign that it could rally soon

Macroeconomic tailwinds like sticky US inflation and market corrections saw a heavy dump in crypto recently. XRP has always prospered or faltered under conditions like this, and the volatility of its price action this week is no exception.

Ali Martinez believes that, given the surge in on-chain activity near an important price level, XRP may be trading at its price bottom and could attempt to reach $2. “XRP: THE BOTTOM IS IN,” he proclaimed on X.

Furthermore, he added that if XRP consistently closes above $1.56, the currency may see an uptrend towards $2, but a failure to remain above $1.25 would expose it to losses towards $1.10.

On his part, crypto analyst Vincent Van Code is even more bullish about XRP than other cryptocurrencies. He stated that the recent market dynamics were meant to flush out weak hands. “I feel the next few weeks we are going to see ATHs smashed across the board with a long, low gradient bull run ahead of us,” he said.

Meanwhile, an analyst at EGRAG CRYPTO also contended that forecasts a near-term surge to the $1.80- $2.00 range over the next month or two, an ensuing correction down to $1.50, and eventually an even larger leg up. The analyst also identified a realistic cycle-top target of $7 to $9, deliberately steering clear of the hyper-bullish targets sometimes proposed in the community.

XRPL pulled a substantial $1.9 billion in net inflows

So far, XRPL has claimed the second spot among tracked blockchains for real-world asset adoption, attracting a substantial $1.9 billion in net inflows over the past six months. RWA.xyz data reveals that BNB Chain has attracted the largest net inflows, totaling $2.2 billion, with XRPL ranking second. Solana comes third with $1.6 billion, followed by Stellar with $1.5 billion, according to the analytics platform.

Looking at other networks, Avalanche pulled in $637 million in positive net flows. Base brought in $210 million, Monad captured $200 million, and Robinhood attracted $199 million—figures that reflect tokenized real-world assets and exclude stablecoin movements.

Although factoring in stablecoins significantly reshuffles the leaderboard, propelling TRON to the top spot with $7.8 billion in six-month net flows. HyperEVM follows at $5.0 billion and Solana at $2.6 billion, which pushes XRPL down to fourth place with $2.5 billion in net inflows under this expanded metric.

XRPL’s distributed RWA value climbed from an initial $518 million at the start of the year to $2.25 billion by the end of Q1. It hit $2.25 billion by the end of the first quarter, a 124% jump from the prior quarter. By May, XRPL’s tokenized RWAs reached a new peak of $3.53 billion, driving the ecosystem’s total value, including stablecoins, past $5.37 billion.

The growth in tokenized real-world assets highlights the expanding use of XRPL beyond payments and speculative cryptocurrency trading. Tokenization allows financial assets, including funds, debt instruments, and other traditional investments, to be represented on a blockchain.

This can support faster settlement and provide investors with new ways to access financial products, although adoption depends on regulatory clarity, liquidity, and institutional demand.

For XRPL, continued growth in tokenized assets could strengthen the network’s position in the digital finance sector. Nevertheless, rising RWA values do not automatically translate into higher XRP prices. The extent to which this activity generates demand for XRP will depend on how the network is used and the role the token plays in those transactions.

FAQs

Can XRP reach $2?

XRP could rally to $2 if it sustains support at $1.25 and consistently closes above $1.56, according to analyst Ali Martinez. However, a break below $1.25 could expose the token to further losses toward $1.10.

Why did XRP Ledger transaction volume surge by 6,000%?

Santiment data showed XRPL transaction volume rising to approximately $49.66 billion from a baseline of $0.8 billion per day. The spike indicates a sharp increase in on-chain activity, although it does not necessarily confirm a bullish price reversal.

How is XRPL performing in real-world asset tokenization?

XRPL ranked second among tracked blockchains for real-world asset net inflows, attracting approximately $1.9 billion over six months, according to RWA.xyz data. Its growing tokenized asset ecosystem highlights expanding blockchain adoption, although this growth does not automatically translate into higher XRP prices.
